So! Spring is here! The Fashion season of experimentation and floral and fauna: the height of naturalism and fauvism and incandescence. Fauvism especially as the art movement of the ‘wild beasts’; color was once demonized and unprofessional, now it’s the absolute. It’s the normality and utmost of sophistication in the fashion world. Charlotte Free with her cotton candy hair, Junya Watanabe with all of their vibrant coifs and natural clothing, and of course the obvious Meadham Kirchoff.
We at Faking Fashion were inspired to style a saccharine sweet shoot of our own. We paired the in-style pastels with blacks and sienna’s and lace and flowers. We were inspired by retro prints and off scale proportions, wide eyes and sparkly frosting. Tree roots and pink and prim and rosy.
We used our own clothing pieces in a couture-styled way, to show that anything one owns can be transformed with the right accessories and can continue to keep up with the trends. Refreshing the way you look at color can reinvent your wardrobe and create new eye-catching arrangements.
